After grabbing a role in ‘Peaky Blinders’, Rebecca Ferguson will be seen in another big title alongside Idris Elba. The movie has not been titled yet, but it will be a Netflix original and will be directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow.
Kathryn Bigelow’s last movie came out in 2017. ‘Detroit’ was a well appreciated movie that starred John Boyega, Will Poulter, Kaitlyn Dever and more. Meanwhile, Idris Elba starred in various popular projects. He was seen in the Netflix films Extraction II and Luther: The Fallen Sun, and also in the AppleTV series ‘Hijack’. Elba and Rebecca Ferguson have not acted together before and watching them in a film will be a big thing for fans.
Rebecca Ferguson has starred in the two Dune films recently and her role as Lady Jessica was appreciated by fans and critics. She will next be seen in the sci-fi drama ‘Mercy’ alongside Chris Pratt. The plot details and other information about the Netflix movie has not been revealed yet. But it will be a thriller about some national crisis, while a group of executives of agents deal with some problems in the White House. The most of the movie will be set in the White House itself.
