On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and India’s former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri today, Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios has announced their next project ‘Sky Force’.
Based on the untold true story that captures the bravery, emotions and patriotism of all those uniformed men involved in India’s first and deadliest airstrike against Pakistan, ‘Sky Force’ will be headlined by Akshay Kumar and also marks the debut of Veer Pahariya who plays a pivotal role in the film.
Sky Force’s release date announcement came with a video clip that is set during the India-Pakistan War of 1965 and has audios from Pakistan’s then President Muhammad Ayub Khan and India’s then Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, each declaring that they won’t stay silent when provoked and are ready to take up weapons when necessary.
‘Sky Force’ is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapoor and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik. Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the production companies behind the film, have locked 2nd October, 2024 as the release date for ‘Sky Force’.
