Stylish Star Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa is going to be made in two parts and the first part was initially planned for August release. But then, COVID’s second wave has made it impossible. The team has drawn plans to release it in October as a Dussehra special. But then, the RRR team sticking to October 13th release date complicates the issue for Pushpa.
If Dussehra is lost, Pushpa will be left with Christmas and Sankranthi season. KGF 2 and Chiranjeevi’s Acharya are targeting the December release. Pushpa can not definitely come between them. At the same time, Sankranthi is also occupied. We have Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum Remake releasing then. Sankranthi has the capacity to accommodate two or three biggies but Allu Arjun can not compete with his own uncle.
So that leaves the Pushpa team confused. They may have to forget about the season advantage or wait until Summer to release their film. Summer release means too much delay. Pushpa will see Allu Arjun playing a Red Sanders smuggler of Seshachalam forests in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. Malayalam Star Fahadh Fasil will be seen in a crucial role in the film with Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
