Netflix tried every method they possibly could to keep the audience from knowing the true nature of Rebel Moon Part 2. They didn’t organize a private screening, didn’t even allow the media to watch it and the reviews started pouring in after the film was released.
Yes, we do realize that the film has a name as giant as Zack Snyder as the director but honestly, no name is big enough to cover up for pathetic content. And for good reasons, why should people watch a bad movie by a famous director when they have options to watch less popular films that are great? In 2024, most people would choose the latter.
Exactly the same is happening with Rebel Moon Part 2.
The movie was released last week and the reviews dropped as soon as people watched the movie. The mega-budget Rebel Moon Part 2 opened with merely 13% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Apparently, Rebel Moon Part 1 was so bad that many people didn’t even finish it. Naturally, they won’t be interested in watching the second part at all.
Perhaps that is the reason we are seeing highly mediocre views of the film. What are the numbers saying?

Had the film been good then the views of such an important film would be much higher. But, Rebel Moon doesn’t even tick the first criteria. Naturally, it had to be what it has come out to be.
