Rick and Morty Season 8 has locked its release window. The adult animated sci-fi series follows the misadventures of Morty Smith, a good-hearted but fretful boy, and his grandpa, Rick Sanchez, a mad scientist with a cynical mindset. Other members of Morty’s family also get involved regularly in the show.
As per The Hollwyood Reporter, Rick and Morty Season 8 will come out in 2025 on Adult Swim. For Indian viewers, they should expect the eighth season to arrive on Netflix. The streaming giant treasures all seven seasons of the show.
Makers have released a new season every year since the fifth season. However, Season 8’s release endured a delay due to the Hollywood strikes.
Fans will witness the return of Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden as the voices of Rick and Morty, respectively, in Season 8. The duo replaced the show’s co-creator Justin Roiland in Season 7.
The last season laid the foundation for the growing independence between Rick and Morty. The latter starts thinking that his grandpa may replace him. Evil Morty may return as well in Season 8. He still possesses the Omega device developed by Rick Prime. The character has appeared in almost every season. So, we should expect his return in Season 8 as well.
