First look of the much awaited sequel ‘Drishyam 2’ is finally here and Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam 2’ is the Hindi remake of Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam film of the same name, similar to the first part.
The first look poster launched for the Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 2’ features Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav standing infront of Swami Chinmayanand’s prayer hall. While Ajay has a spade in his hand, Shriya has the luggage bag, Ishita has a blood stained iron rod and Mrunal holds a CD.
The overall gloomy poster reveals that the recall teaser for ‘Drishyam 2’ will be out tomorrow on 29th September. While the original Malayalam version had a digital release on Amazon Prime Video, the Hindi version will release in theatres on 18th November, 2022.
‘Drishyam 2’ is set seven years after the first part and will see the Salgaonkar family navigating their life with new twists and turns. Will they be caught this time or will Vijay come up with another ingenious plan and save his family?
‘Drishyam 2’ stars Ajay Devgn, Akshay Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapur, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav among others. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak who has also adapted the screenplay along with Aamil Keeyan Khan.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the original score and music for ‘Drishyam 2’. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are the producers for the film. Co-producers include Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey and Shiv Chanana.
Presented by Viacom18 Studios, ‘Drishyam 2’ is a T-Series and Panorama Studios production and will release in theatres worldwide on 18th November, 2022.
