“Dhak Dhak,” the drama film, is set to stream soon on OTT. Directed by Tarun Dudeja and produced by Ajit Andhare, Kevin Vaz, Pranjal Khandhdiya, and Taapsee Pannu, the film showcases the journey of four fearless women on a road trip to the highest motorable pass in the world.
The plot unfolds as these women embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, pushing their boundaries on motorcycles that soar like large-winged birds against the wind. Ratna Pathak Shah takes on the role of Manpreet Kaur Sethi, affectionately known as Mahi, a spirited biker grandma. Dia Mirza portrays Uzma, a resourceful mechanic, while Fatima Sana Shaikh embodies Sky, a passionate travel blogger. Sanjana Sanghi joins the ensemble as Manjari, a first-time solo traveler.
The film promises a blend of adventure, camaraderie, and the pursuit of freedom as the characters ride beyond the limits of their lives. Released theatrically on the 13th of October, the film obviously failed to do anything impressive at the box office. So, Netflix silently announced the release date within the app.
Excitingly, the movie is set to reach a broader audience with its digital release on Netflix on December 8, 2023. Those interested in the movie may wait till then.
