Ajay Devgn has confirmed that he has read the script of Singham 3. The script is excellent according to the actor and he hopes it will be the 11th blockbuster of the actor-director duo. The film will be named ‘Singham Again’ and fans of the franchise are excited about the news.
Rohit Shetty successfully made India’s first cop universe a big hit. Singham and Singham Returns are two of the most popular films made by Rohit Shetty and there is no doubt about the popularity of the character. Simmba and Suryavanshi joined the cop universe later with respective movies for both of them and there are talks about more actors like Siddharth Malhotra joining it later on. Ajay Devgn’s Singham had a cameo in ‘Simmba’ and all three police officers came together in ‘Suryavanshi’.
Ajay Devgn’s last film ‘Drishyam 2’ was a huge hit and it was one of the few movies from Bollywood that were loved by critics and audiences equally in 2022. Despite being a remake of a Malayalam film of the same name, Drishyam 2 managed to attract audiences, thanks to the suspense and thrill it managed to create with this and the previous movie. Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ on the other hand was a disaster and it failed at the box office even though it had big stars like Ranveer Singh in the movie.
Singham Again will be a very important project for Rohit Shetty and it will make the filmmaker’s place in Bollywood stronger again after the massive failure of ‘Cirkus’. Rohit and Ajay’s collaboration will be an exciting thing for the fans of the actor and the director. They have worked together so many times and all the films they made worked great for the audiences. Assuming Rohit’s directing style, we can say there will be some awesome action sequences in the movie and hopefully some impressive cameos too.
