Rohit Shetty’s much awaited comedy drama ‘Cirkus’ is now in theatres and the early reviews coming in portray a very dismal picture for the film.
Most of those who have watched ‘Cirkus’ in cinemas, critics and public alike, are pretty disappointed and claim it to be the worst film of Rohit Shetty till date. Nothing in the film seems to work for the movie goers.
The audience has found ‘Cirkus’ to be unbearable and boring with pathetic screenplay and poor story. Moreover, Ranveer Singh’s acting is getting a huge thumbs down, some even calling it to be his career-worst performance.
While no brainer comedy dramas are not new and have done great at the box office before, ‘Cirkus’ fails to tick the basic entertainment box, quintessential for such type of films. The letdown is such that people are regretting having wasted their time and money by watching ‘Cirkus’ in theatres.
Some views on the internet also suggest that Rohit Shetty got over confident with the tremendous success of his previous films and might have taken the audience for granted, resulting in ‘Cirkus’ being a disaster.
