MX Player has dropped the trailer for its latest MX Original series ‘Roohaniyat’ and it’s all about giving love a second chance. Directed by Glen Barretto and Ankush Mohla, all episodes of ‘Roohaniyat’ will start streaming on MX Player from 23rd March, 2022.
‘Roohaniyat’ trailer begins with Saveer Rathod (Arjun Bijlani) falling happily and deeply in love with what he believes is his soulmate. On the other hand is a young girl Prisha (Kanika Mann) whose blindly in love with her boyfriend and even wrote 50 reasons as to why they are made for each other.
But destiny has different plans for both of them. Saveer’s soul mate dies in what appears to be a tragic accident, meanwhile Prisha’s boyfriend betrays her for another girl. Both their hearts are shattered but their reaction towards love is exactly opposite. While Saveer has lost all hope and thinks forever is a lie, Prisha believes otherwise.
Their paths cross and the conflict about their respective concept of love and forever comes into play. Saveer’s anger for Prisha stems from the fact that she reminds him of his soul mate. On the other hand, Prisha is attracted towards him and is gradually developes feelings. Will Saveer be able to let go of his fears and pain and start believing in love once again?
‘Roohaniyat’ on MX Player follows the story of Prisha who meets Saveer and falls head over heels for him while exploring the path of true love. However, what awaits her is a dark and sinister surprise, as her companion is not what she expected. Prisha is a romantic at heart, while Saveer, who once believed in love, has lost interest in it. Their perspectives on love are diametrically opposed. Will Prisha be able to reestablish Saveer’s faith in love, or will their lives take another turn?
