First ‘RRR’ and now ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is reigning the global charts on Netflix. Kartik Aaryan’s most recent blockbuster film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ released on Netflix a few days ago and has now become the most viewed non-English film on the global streaming giant worldwide.
While ‘RRR’ was a grand epic drama coming from SS Rajamouli that has been stunning the audience from around the globe for a long time now on Netflix, it was not an unexpected feat for the film to have achieved what it did on Netflix for past few weeks.
But ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ joining the league is surprisingly exciting. The film no doubt did wonders at the box office worldwide but going on to impress the digital audience around the world is quite impressive.
A lot of credit for this also goes to ‘RRR’ that created just the right environment and setting amongst the global viewers for Indian cinema encouraging them to further explore and engage with more of it. And it’s right then that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ arrives on Netflix making the timing just perfect.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ entered Netflix’s non-English Films list at #1 with 12.29 million hours viewed. This was followed by Polish romantic comedy ‘Heart Parade’ (9.1M hours viewed), thriller ‘The Wrath of Gods’ (8.45M hours viewed) and Spanish action-adventure ‘Centauro’ (6.51M hours viewed). The newest addition to the list is Doom of Love with 5.92M hours viewed.
Here’s what Kartik Aaryan had to say about this latest ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ achievement
