The much hyped theatrical trailer of Rajamouli‘s magnum opus project RRR will be out in a few hours from now and the expectations couldn’t have been higher. Needless to say, Rajamouli is presented with the golden opportunity to reach the pan-India audiences with this trailer. If he comes up with a winning trailer cut, it will ultimately build good buzz for the film ahead of its release. At the same time, an insipid trailer can dampen the hype surrounding the film.
Rajamouli’s camp has implied that the trailer cut is of elite quality and it will provide a whole new experience to the viewers. But we can’t come to any conclusions before seeing how the common public reacts to the trailer once it is out.
One of the main reasons why the Baahubali dulogy attained hype all across the country is the winning trailer cut. The trailer of the first part was a smashing success and it implied that the Indian audiences are set to witness imagery that they’ve never seen before in Indian cinema. The trailer of the second part was equally impressive. It showcased the drama surrounding the central characters. It needs to be said that the trailers of the two parts of Baahubali played an instrumental role in the pre-release buzz for these films. Rajamouli would have closely analyzed the same and he would have incorporated all his experience while working on RRR’s trailer cut.
As of now, the news is that Rajamouli has come up with an ecstatic trailer that caters to all sections of the audience. But what ultimately matters is the reception the trailer gets from the masses. Can Rajamouli repeat the Baahubali magic with RRR’s trailer? We will know the answer on 9th December.
