Ryan Reynolds starrer much acclaimed film of the year ‘Free Guy’, after having a successful run at the cinemas, is now coming to Disney+ Hotstar for Indian fans!
Keeping the diversity of Indian viewers in mind, Disney+ Hotstar will release ‘Free Guy’ in four languages – Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu. Unfortunately there is no official information yet on the Kannada and Malayalam version and we might have to wait a little longer for it.
‘Free Guy’ is a science fiction comedy action film that follows a bank teller named Guy (Ryan Reynolds) who discovers that he lives in a open world video game and is just a background player. It’s time now that he decides to become the hero of his own story, that he rewrites himself. And before it’s too late he needs to save his world, where there are no limits, in his own way.

Shawn Levy (‘Biv Fat Liar’, ‘Stranger Things’) has directed ‘Free Guy’ with a story from Matt Lieberman who has co-written the screenplay with Zak Penn. Other than Reynolds, the film stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi.
Reynolds, Levy, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Adam Kolbrenner have produced ‘Free Guy’ while Mary McLagen, Josh McLagen, George Dewey, Dan Levine, Michael Riley McGrath serve as the film’s executive producers.
‘Free Guy’ will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on Disney+ Hotstar on 15th October, 2021, the same day when Vidyut Jammwal’s ‘Sanak’ is also coming out on Disney+ Hotstar.
