Kota Factory and Panchayat are so different yet so similar in many ways. Regardless, both are very popular shows that enjoy a sort of cult among young audiences.
But which among them is a more successful venture? Well, the data shows that one of them is much much more popular than the other. So much so that the margin is astoundingly less than 89%.
Well, you might have guessed but Panchayat is far more popular than Kota Factory. The views of Panchayat Season 3 are insanely high with over 11 million. While that of Kota Factory is only slightly above 1 million.
To be honest Kota Factory doesn’t even stand near the popularity of Panchayat. The major reason is the universality of the story. While JEE is almost like an invisible character in Kota Factory, Panchayat is more about Sachiv Ji than CAT.
People who have never had the aspirations of JEE or NEET might find the series not tempting or not relatable enough. Another reason could be the stark difference between the subscriber base of Prime Video India and Netflix India. The former is leaps and bounds larger than the latter and so is the difference in views.
Whatever the case may be, Prime Video yet again hit the bull’s eye with Panchayat Season 3.
