Salaar was in talks even before the release of KGF Chapter 2. The film was announced way back in 2020 but kept on getting delayed due to Prashanth Neel’s involvement in KGF Chapter 2 and of course COVID-19 pandemic.
After the fiasco of Radhe Shyam, Prabhas fans were desperately waiting for the update of his next film i.e. Salaar. A few days back, some fans posted letters that they would take some horrible steps if there is no update on the same.
But looks like Hombale Films and Prashanth Neel are done celebrating the mega-success of KGF Chapter 2 and are back to work.
One thing must be noted that, unlike the KGF franchise, Salaar would be a Telugu film which will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
So makers have released another poster of the film which features the leading man Prabhas. The poster features him in the same dark theme as KGF and will be filled with violence.
Just like the “Violence Violence” dialogue from KGF Chapter 2, even Salaar has a similar tagline.

Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars popular Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran alongwith Shruti Hassan and Jagapathi Babu.
