Prabhas has had a depressing career after Baahubali: The Conclusion. It is as if Prabhas reached his peak in 2017, and a fall from there was inevitable.
But see the graph, and it is just too bad after Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and now the impeccable disaster of Adipurush.
Prashant Neel is famous for directing the KGF series, which is famously one of the biggest films ever made in India.
And Salaar is just another film dipped in the same flavor as KGF. There is gore, there is a mystery, there is a forced dark tint, and it has everything that KGF was celebrated for except the story.
An old man telling a story to a bunch of men who are afraid of the mere mention of the hero. A confined space where anything and everything is happening. These similarities can easily be traced in the 1:47 minutes teaser of the film.
And God knows how many more similarities are there.
The fans of Prabhas have been trending the movie on the web for quite some time, especially after the massive failure and hate that Adipurush received.
The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. It is scheduled for release on September 28 this year.
The movie will be a franchise, just like KGF. And the first installment will be called Salaar: The Ceasefire. The movie is promoting Prabhas’ character as the most violent man ever.
