Samantha ventured into OTT with The Family Man season 2. The noted actress came up with a winning act in the series and she received a thumping reception for the same. Well, it appears to be that the blockbuster success of The Family Man 2 has made Samantha change her stance on ‘OTT’ projects and as well as Hindi-language films in general.
“Up until The Family Man 2, I was always skeptical about featuring in OTT content and as well as Hindi films, in general. I didn’t know if I was ready to take the plunge and present myself to the Hindi audience. So, I rejected several Hindi projects that came my way. But soon after I received The Family Man 2 offer, I knew it was special and readily came on board. The kind of reception I received for the series was truly overwhelming and now, I am ready to take up more Hindi-language projects,” Samantha said in her latest interview.
Samantha implied that she is ready to take up more OTT projects in the days to follow. The seasoned actress says The Family Man 2 changed her perception altogether. She seemed excited about picking up more Hindi films and series in the near future.
Well, speculations are rife that Samantha has already agreed to come on board for a Hindi web series that will be directed by Raj and DK, the men behind The Family Man. It appears to be that we can expect a few A-lister Hindi projects from Samantha in the next few months.
