Samantha has been yearning to explore new avenues as an actress after the divorce. In fact, she had been with a similar mindset even months before separation from Naga Chaitanya. Her bold performance in The Family Man 2 is an implication of the same. After the divorce, Samantha is having the luxury of making independent choices. She doesn’t need to carry the baggage of ‘star family reputation’ that was previously associated with her.
