Samantha is slowly but certainly moving on with her life post the much talked about divorce. She has been listening to several scripts of late and has even finalized a few projects. For those who don’t already know, Samantha has green signaled a feature film that will be funded by Sridevi Movies, and also a web series that will be directed by The Family Man fame Raj and DK. Here is all that we know about the said feature film, which will be Samantha’s first film post divorce. This is the first project she signed after separating from Naga Chaitanya.
Apparently, a director-duo will be directing Samantha’s first mainstream film post the divorce. Two budding Telugu filmmakers named Hari and Harish will be helming the project while Sridevi Movies will be funding it. The director-duo approached Samantha with a female-oriented storyline and Samantha who had been more inclined towards female-centric films in the recent past green signaled the project almost instantaneously.
This as-yet-untitled film will be mounted on a big scale and it will mark the coming together of many top-tier actors and technicians from across the South film industry. The makers have allotted a sizeable budget for the project. More details about the cast and crew will be out in the days to follow. The filming will commence this November and Samantha will join the sets right from the opening schedule. As for the above-mentioned web series that will be directed by Raj and DK, this project might commence shoot once Samantha is done with the feature film.
