The streaming platform for Samantha Akkineni‘s latest film Yashoda is now locked. The movie, apart from leading lady Samantha stars Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Murali Sharma in important roles.
The name of the movie is interesting and says a lot about the plot. Yashoda from the Mahabharata parented Shree Krishna when he was not even her biological son.
In this movie too, Yashoda (Samantha’s character). She comes from a financially unstable background so opts for surrogacy. Unknown at the beginning, she comes to know about the illegal activities revolving around those involved in surrogacy and thus decides to shed some light on them.
Regardless, Samantha’s movie is in significant buzz and thus rest depends on whatever the movie offers.
The movie is directed by Hari-Harish and it was initially meant to be bilingual. But the movie stopped filming in the Tamil version in exchange for a dubbed version.
The OTT platform for the movie is Amazon Prime Video and that is where it’ll stream. However, when it comes to Prime Video then we can’t really be sure about which languages the film will stream into.
