Samuel L. Jackson & Dominique Fishback Team Up For Apple’s Latest Drama!

Samuel L. Jackson is a phenomenal actor and nobody can challenge this fact, and now he will be teaming up with Dominique Fishback to create another masterpiece. In recent news, Apple TV+ announced that they will be creating a series based on the much acclaimed novel “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey”, authored by Walter Mosley. The series which is also named “The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey” will be a 6 episode series.

Samuel L Jackson has always been someone who has chosen roles that are out of the box. This time too, it will be the same. He will be playing the titular character of the 91 year old Ptolemy Grey who at this age is without doubt going through one of the difficult phases. Dominique Fishback, who has been garnering attention from all over after she appeared in the critically acclaimed and one of the most loved films this year “Judas and The Black Messiah”, will be seen essaying the role of Robyn, a friend of the Grey’s.

Forgotten by people, by his loved ones, his family and also by him, Grey is someone who is tackling the demons of dementia. He now has been given a chance to get fractions and parts of his memory back. What will he do with it now? He takes this opportunity to solve the murder of his nephew and also come in terms with his past.

The series will be directed by Ramin Bahrani whose last project “The White Tiger”, on Netflix has been receiving magnificent love from everyone. Samuel L. Jackson along with Walter Mosley will serve as the executive producers along with Bahrani himself. The series will be produced by Apple Studios.
