Prolific Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson, who was last seen in the Marvel superhero series ‘Secret Invasion’, has been roped in for an interesting project. ‘The Hateful Eight’ actor is reportedly in talks to star as the President of the United States in an action thriller movie titled ‘The Beast’. And alongside the veteran actor, Joel Kinnaman (The Suicide Squad) will also feature in the indie movie.
The basic plot of ‘The Beast’ revolves around the impenetrable presidential limousine, which is called ‘The Beast’ by the Secret Service. The elite vehicle is stocked with high tech weapons and equipment like grenades, shotguns, armor plates, besides being bomb proof and bullet proof.
But when a group of armed criminals try to attack the US Presidency, the President must uncover the presidential vehicle’s highly classified offensive capabilities as well. Faced with a highly adverse situation where he has been separated from his wife, the President must now learn to optimally control and maneuver The Beast to save his own life, the life of a Secret Service agent and to protect the country.
‘The Beast’ will be directed by James Madigan. And this won’t be the first time Samuel L. Jackson will be essaying the role of the US President because previously, he played the President in the 2014 film ‘Big Game’.
After starring in ‘Secret Invasion’, Samuel L. Jackson will next be seen in the dark comedy thriller flick ‘The Kill Room’ co-starring Uma Thurman, Marvel superhero movie ‘The Marvels’, and Matthew Vaughn’s star-studded spy thriller film ‘Argylle’, amongst other projects.
