Initially Toolsidas Junior was eyeing a theatrical release but due to its cold buzz, the film will now land directly on Netflix. The sports drama film is set in the decade of the 90s and stars child artist Varun Buddhadev in the lead role. He is very attached to his father played by Rajiv Kapoor who happens to be a snooker player. Unfortunately, after a lot of preparation, he loses the game to a star player portrayed by Dalip Tahil.
Agonized by the defeat he becomes a disciple of Sanjay Dutt who teaches him to play the so-called elite game. He tries to learn the game but got humiliated instead and that is when Dutt’s character comes to the rescue. The film is now headed to Netflix where it will release on the 19th of April.
