The 2022 film ‘Vadh‘ written and directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajiv Barnwal is going to make its OTT premiere on the 3rd of February. It will be coming to Netflix India. The film stars Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta in the lead roles and also has actors like Saurabh Sachdeva, Manav Vij, Umesh Kaushik, Diwakar Kumar, ranjal Pateriya and Abhitosh Singh in other important roles.
The movie had its theatrical release on the 9th of December last year and it did not do a very good business at the box office. The cinematography of the film is handled by Sapan Narula and the editing was done by Bharat S. Rawat. Gurucharan Singh has composed some very wonderful music in the film.
‘Vadh’ tells the story of a retired couple played Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta. The old school teacher lives with his wife with the satisfaction of the mundane and middle class life in Gwalior. Their life suddenly goes through a very drastic change when their son decides to abroad for further studies. And a murder complicates everything.
The movie was appreciated by critics and audiences but it was not able to create a hype and do good business. The actors, specially Sanjay Mishra has given a wonderful performance in the movie. The execution of ‘Vadh’ is good and it is definitely one of the most well made movies of last year. It is sad that it did not get the response it deserved. If you have missed watching ‘Vadh’ in the theaters, you should now watch it when it comes to OTT. The film is coming to Netflix India on the 3rd of February.
