Actor Sohum Shah has talked about a lot of his upcoming movies in one of his recent interviews. He has announced that he will be coming with a sequel to Tumbbad soon which will be based on the theme of immortality and will be the story of Vinayak’s son Panduranga. He has also said that he plans to make a trilogy out of it finally. He was both the lead and one of the producers for Tumbbad and we can have trust upon his announcement.
But Sohum Shah has also talked about another upcoming film that might seem intriguing to you. The film is titled ‘Santosh Lakshmi’ and Sohum Shah has said it is 10 times more ambitious than Tumbbad itself. While it seems to be a bit overstatement, there is no doubt that the movie must be something cool indeed. Whether it will be a mythological film like ‘Santoshi Mata’ is not known yet.
Shah has said that it will be a vfx-heavy film and there will be grand action scenes. He shared an example of the scenes, when trains are crashing into a mountain and blasting. There is still no update on what the plot will be like and we will probably have to wait for a bit longer. But when it is being backed by someone like Sohum Shah we can expect a quality production and indeed the movie will be worth the wait.
