Jigsaw has returned with Saw X and his return is nothing short of spectacular. Believe it or not, early reactions have hailed the tenth entry as one of the best films in the Saw franchise. It will come out in theatres worldwide on September 29.
The newest Saw installment brings back Joe Kramer as Tobin Bell, aka Jigsaw. This film does not serve as a sequel. Instead, its events take place between the first two movies. Kramer goes to Mexico to look for a cure for his terminal cancer. Soon, he realizes that the entire operation is nothing except a fraudulent scheme to exploit vulnerable individuals. This scenario gives Kramer a new purpose; kidnapping the con artists and subjecting them to new, bloody, and spine-chilling traps.
Some lucky critics got the chance to watch the film before its official theatrical release. Many of them have shared their reactions online. Most of them are highly positive, hailing the latest Saw entry as one of the best in the franchise.

Shannon McGrew from Nightmarish Conjuring:
Now that the social embargo has lifted I'm happy to announce that #SAWX is one of the BEST additions to the franchise. It brings back the original essence of the first film while also allowing the audience to gain deeper insight into Kramer. Plus, the traps are *chef kiss* pic.twitter.com/Le3NoMMMvU

Vannah Taylor from The Carnal Extremities Podcast:
Safe to say that I think #SawX is easily one of the best crafted films in the franchise. Without sacrificing any of the key ingredients that make a great SAW film, this new installment delivers a more emotional story than I had anticipated…oh and it’s a bloody good time 🧩 pic.twitter.com/t0t8OjbJ8x

Peter Gray from Rotten Tomatoes:
Initially adhering to a different structure than we are used to, #SawX infuses a more human element as it dives into Kramer’s desperation. Fear not though as it eventually embraces the gory carnage we expect with some truly squirm-inducing tricks and traps that HURT. Bloody fun! pic.twitter.com/N7mhIboVa9

Nick’s Flicks Fix from Monthly Movie Marathon:
#SawX is a twisted revenge story that once again shows how good Tobin Bell is as Jigsaw with a more character focused, dramatic first act.
Then it’s gore galore with some truly toe curling traps and enough blood and guts to satisfy long time Saw fans.

Chris Killian from ComicBook:
While I was at Universal today, the social embargo lifted so I can tell you now that #SawX is gruesome, hard-to-watch, and probably the best Saw sequel in about 15 years. It wedges perfectly between 1-2 and unveils a side of Jigsaw we haven’t seen before. Saw fans will enjoy it pic.twitter.com/546PnGaAgw
