Scores of new titles are added to the Netflix library each month around the world. A number of titles also leave Netflix every month. This happens because Netflix doesn’t own the entire contents of its library. Several popular titles – both films and series – are licenced from their parent companies for a specific period of time.
Sometimes Netflix renews the licence for a title. But most of the times, it doesn’t. Which means that the title leaves Netflix to return to its owner. This happens not just in India, but across the world.
A number of titles are leaving Netflix India in the next few days, including top films, series, and a bunch of early Shah Rukh Khan movies. Watch your preferred ones while you can, before they disappear from the streaming service.
