More than a couple of months have passed since the finale of Hawkeye streamed on the Disney+ platform. Still, it is managing to leave a long-lasting impact on the upcoming MCU shows. How about we take the Secret Invasion series as an example here? Well, we all know that Oscar Issac’s Moon Knight is ready to premiere on March 30. Right after this one, we will witness the iconic duo of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos in the forthcoming Secret Invasion series. But first, we should appreciate how brilliantly Marvel has worked to keep the plot of this series a complete mystery. Yes, we are all familiar with the basic “Skrulls invading Earth” storyline. Plus, some leaked photos from the sets have emerged on the internet. Despite all these things, fans are unable to guess the series’ main plot elements. And a recently leaked set photo shares a connection with the Hawkeye series.
Do you remember the first episode of Hawkeye? Clint Barton attends a musical based on Captain America and the rest of the Avengers with his kids. Yup, it was ‘Rogers: The Musical’. Anyway, the poster of that musical show will also appear in the Secret Invasion series as an Easter Egg. A newly leaked photo from the sets has confirmed this piece of news.
We all know how superhero movies or tv shows love to hide Easter Eggs for the fans to create more excitement for them. So, don’t get too surprised after watching other Easter Eggs in the show.
The upcoming MCU show is expected to premiere in the second half of 2022. A group of Skrulls infiltrates our planet to wreak havoc on humans. And we will see the trio of Fury, Talos, and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) doing everything they can to stop these creatures at any cost. Fans will see Kingsley Ben-Adir playing the main antagonist in the series. The British actor has appeared in many notable shows like Peaky Blinders, The OA, Vera, and many more. Apart from all the guys mentioned above, the show’s cast contains Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Carmen Ejogo, Christopher McDonald, Killian Scott, and Akai Coleman.
