In 2004 came a Tamil romantic drama ‘7/G Rainbow Colony’ and became not just a critical but also a commercial hit. More than two decades later its sequel ‘7/G Rainbow Colony 2’ is all set for launch and the first look for the same has been unveiled today.
The first look poster for ‘7/G Rainbow Colony 2’ features a couple strolling in the middle of a lonely street surrounded by big buildings under the night sky lit with stars. They are possibly returning home from work after a long day. The whole poster has a dreamy vibe that’s soothing and pleasant.
‘7/G Rainbow Colony 2’ is in the final stages of filming, release star for which remains to be announced. Returning with the sequel is director Selvaraghavan who is reuniting with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for the film. Ramji is on board as the cinematographer. Whether or not Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal will return to reprise their roles is yet to revealed.
Over the years, the original ‘7/G Rainbow Colony’ has attained a sort of cult status and mass following which raises the expectations pretty high for the sequel. ‘7/G Rainbow Colony’ is produced by A. M. Rathnam under Sri Surya Movies. Stay tuned to binged.com for further details!
