Ever since it first premiered in January 2019, Sex Education has been a smash hit for Netflix. The first season was a legit blockbuster for Netflix, garnering over 40 million viewers in the days after its release. Netflix followed it up with the equally successful Season 2. Now, a terrific Sex Education Season 3 has just premiered on Netflix, and it has received rave reviews from critics and audiences around the world.
Now that Sex Education Season 3 has premiered on Netflix, binge-watched and done with, the primary question on most minds is this – will there be a Sex Education Season 4? Will Netflix renew Sex Education for another season? A number of viewers are of the opinion that the series still has a lot of juice left in the story to continue for another season. There are others who think that Sex Education Season 3 ended on a balanced note, and Netflix might as well conclude the series with this season.
Well, we think Sex Education Season 3 ended on a minor cliffhanger regarding the suspense about Jean Milburn’s just-born baby. And yes, we would definitely want Sex Education Season 4, for a chance to savour the shenanigans of our favourite characters yet again.
However, a single ultra-short update posted by Asa Butterfield on his official Instagram account has given us much worry over whether there will be a new season of Sex Education. The star of the show Asa Butterfield, who plays Otis Milburn in the show, posted a picture last night, with his costars on the show. That, however, is not the cause of our worry. It is the caption accompanying the picture that is the worrying factor. He’s captioned the picture thus –
“e…en….endgame?”
His Instagram post has left us wondering. Is Asa Butterfield hinting that Sex Education Season 3 is endgame for the super successful show? Is Sex Education Season 3 the final season of the show?
Netflix has promised an exciting update on Sex Education in its much-awaited upcoming fan event, Netflix ‘Tudum’. Fans of the show have been expecting an update regarding the announcement of Sex Education Season 4. But now, Asa Butterfield’s Instagram update has got us confused.
