Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action thriller ‘Jawan’ has enthused his fans and Bollywood buffs no end. The sharp teaser of the film, coupled with Shah Rukh Khan‘s edgy look in the film, has netizens in a tizzy ever since it dropped on social media. The Atlee-directed ‘Jawan’ is easily the most keenly anticipated film of recent times.
Now we have another update from ‘Jawan’ that is certain to amp up excitement for the film even more. As per reports from credible sources, two well-known actors have joined the cast of ‘Jawan’. Deepika Padukone is essaying a cameo in the film. She will reportedly play the wife of Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the film. Deepika Padukone’s cameo in Jawan is said to be a short but interesting one.
We also have confirmed news that Telugu star Rana Daggubati has come on board Jawan in an extended cameo. He is reportedly playing a negative character in the film. Not much else is known about Rana Daggubati’s role in Jawan. Both Deepika Padukone and Rana Daggubati will join the shoot of Jawan soon.
Jawan is directed by Tamil director Atlee (Mersal, Bigil, Theri). The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, reportedly in a double role, along with Nayanthara and Priyamani. Sunil Grover also has a prominent role in the film. Jawan is produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Jawan will hit theatres worldwide, on June 2, 2023. The film will be a pan-India affair, to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
