Shahid Kapoor’s much-awaited action extravaganza ‘Bloody Daddy’ is all set to get a direct digital release on Jio Cinema. The film will skip theatres and release directly on OTT. The news was announced by Jio Studios at its glittering press conference in Mumbai last evening. The action thriller film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the first ever coming together of Shahid Kapoor and the director.
Jio Studios has just released the first teaser and confirmed ‘Bloody Daddy’ OTT release date. Bloody Daddy will premiere on Jio Cinema on 9th June, 2023. The Bloody Daddy teaser promises sheer unadulterated action and lots of fun for lovers of the action genre. The film is an official adaptation of the French film “Nuit Blanche” (Sleepless Night). Bloody Daddy is set in the backdrop of the mafia and drug lords, and its events take place in one single night, as Shahid Kapoor’s character goes into a killing spree, couple with high octane action.
Bloody Daddy is presented by Jio Studios in association with Zafar’s AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment, and The Vermillion World. The French original has been adapted previously as the Tamil-language film ‘Thoongaa Vanam’ (2015), which starred Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
The makers of the film have described Bloody Daddy as a stylized, relentless, action-packed ride, and the first teaser promises to offer a gripping and engaging experience for audiences. Bloody Daddy also stars Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, and Rajeev Khandelwal in pivotal roles.
