The two popular actors Shane Nigam And Sreenath Bhasi are now banned from working in the Malayalam Film industry by Film Employees Federation of Kerala and Kerala Film Producers Association. It decided after a meeting between FEKKA and Association of Malayalam Movie Artists on 25th April that because of the actors’ unprofessional activities and various allegations on them, it will be better to stop them from working in the industry.
It is not for the first time the two actors are getting into news for the wrong reasons. Sreenath Bhasi was arrested in September 2022 after a female reporter from a Youtube channel alleged him of abuse, saying sexually explicit words and insulting her dignity. Reportedly, after the actor did not like some of the questions, he told the cameraman to switch off the camera and then verbally abused the reporter. He was under drugs at that time.
Shane Nigam too was banned from the industry in 2019 for unprofessional behavior. When he was shooting for the film Veyil, he cut his hair off which put the makers into trouble.
Both the actors are accused of drug abuse and troubling the makers and producers with unprofessional behavior. The producers accuse them of being undisciplined and not following a proper work ethic.
Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi are critically acclaimed actors with performances in many superhit films. Shane Nigam has acted in films like Kismath, Corona Papers, Bhoomi, Anwar, Eeda and Ullasam. Sreenath Bhasi has acted in films like The Last Supper, Parava, Virus, Trance, Bheeshma Parvam and many others. They have worked together in the wonderful film Kumbalangi Nights. Banning two amazing actors for unprofessional behavior is surely a loss to the industry.
