Well made coming of age romantic comedies are always mood lifters. But not always do films in the genre work at the box-office. The latest entry in the list is Shane Nigam starrer ‘Ullasam‘. This romantic comedy which also is a journey of self-exploration was released on 1st July, 2022. The film was a box-office failure as well despite positive reviews. After a huge gap of 6 months, Ullasam is finally coming to streaming. The digital rights of Ullasam were bagged by Amazon Prime Video. According to Verified sources, Ullasam streams on Amazon Prime Video from 25th December.
Ullasam follows two strangers who hail from diverse backgrounds. They meet on their return from Ooty to Kerala and are left with no other choice than travelling together. This unexpected journey through different circumstances and different set of people prove to be an enriching and mind awakening experience for the duo. The story takes a turn as they realize that it is nothing but a journey of self-exploration.
Directed by Jeevan Jojo in his directorial debut and bankrolled by Joe Kaithamattom and Christi Kaithamattom under the banner Kaithamattom Brothers, Ullasam stars Shane Nigam, Pavithra Lakshmi and Aju Varghese in major roles. Despite a dismal commercial performance, the film would still manage to quench your thirst for feel good films this Christmas. Ullasam will stream on Amazon Prime Video from December 25th.
