“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” was unanimously praised for its action and overall story. The Marvel film starred Simu Liu who essayed the titular character.
Now, Prime Video is making a promising series headlined by the Shang-Chi actor. But, there is a bigger surprise. The series will be directed by Justin Lin. In case you are unaware, he is the man behind many Fast And Furious films. Although the film series is heavily criticized for its absurd story and action, it has a wide fan base that will watch it anyhow.
Regardless, both of them are coming for the adaptation of a book called Seven Wonders wrote by Ben Mezrich.
Seven Wonders will revolve around Dr. Nate Grady played by Simu Liu. Dr. Grady is a botanist who partners with an international nexus to unravel the mystery which ties the seven wonders of the ancient world.
The adventure which follows afterward is what will form the core of the series throughout.
