Tough times have surrounded Netflix like a tornado. But the streaming giant is still finding ways to survive and make content. Amidst all these messes, it is now almost confirmed that Shazam! Fury Of Gods director David F. Sandberg is roped in to direct a new Netflix Film. It will fall in the category of Genre Thriller and is written by Greg Weidman and Geoff Tock.
This film will reunite the duo of David F. Sandberg with James Won. The latter discovered Sandberg and produced his films Lights Out. They also worked together in the highly famous spin-off of The Conjuring series, “Annabelle: Creation”.
Netflix is going sneaky over the plot details as, unlike their other projects where they release synopsis, this time they have not revealed any information about the same.
All we know as of now is that the film is titled “Below” and was sold for a low figure to Netflix. The reason behind is could be that Netflix does not want to spend a lot of investment on film.
Regardless, whatever great content they produce will help strengthen its root which seems to have shaken badly amidst all the mess surrounding their subscriber loss.
