For a long time, JioCinema had an ill reputation that the platform just focused on trashy unwatchable originals. This infamous notion was to be blamed only and only JioCinema. Lately, they have been trying to change that image with originals that are not trashy. For instance, things like Pill and Gaanth.
There is a new series on the way too. It is called Shekhar Home. The series as obvious by the word play is based on the epoch making work by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle called “Sherlock Holmes”. Sherlock Holmes is one of the most portrayed characters on the screen throughout the decades and it still continues to enchant the audiences.
Good that JioCinema tried to make a series on that. We must appreciate the ambitious nature of this project. But, every ambitious project needs the help of a push. In this age of social media, work is even easier as platforms just need creative copywriters and editors who can make multiple bang-on posts a day. Despite such a huge potential, nothing substantial can be appreciated on the part of JioCinema to create any hype whatsoever for Shekhar Home.
The series is only two days away from getting released and looks like JioCinema is too lazy or busy to do anything apart from releasing the trailer, which they have already done.
