Shilpa Shetty, one of the most evergreen actresses from the 90s era is back once again with a brand new film. Shilpa Shetty will be seen in the upcoming film “Hungama 2”, which also marks her comeback into Bollywood after 13 years. Shilpa Shetty’s last acting gig was in “Apne” opposite Sunny Deol. Even though that was her last acting gig, she was still appearing in songs for a few films like “Om Shanti Om”, “Dostana” and “Dishkiyaon”. Dance has always been something that Shilpa Shetty has been really fond of and the latest song from her movie “Hungama 2” is proof of that.
“Churake Dil Mera 2.0” was released today as a song to be featured in the upcoming movie “Hungama 2”. One might be wondering, why does the name of the song sound familiar. Well, this song is the revised version of the original song “Churake Dil Mera” that was featured in the movie “Main Khiladi Tu Anari”. The song back then was picturized on Akshay Kumar and sizzling Shilpa Shetty and was an instant hit. The song to date is one of the most amazing and loved 90s songs and “Churake Dil Mera 2.0” again will bring back those memories and also the classic Shilpa Shetty “thumkas” back to your screen.
The song this time is picturized on Shilpa Shetty and Meezaan Shetty and it seems to be in the setting of some sort of celebration in the movie. The song, ever since it was released has been trending on Twitter and for all the right reasons. The song is sung by Benny Dayal and Anmol Malik and has music by Anu Malik and lyrics from Rani Malik. The song is choreographed by Brinda Master. The 1994 classic was sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik with music and lyrics from Anu Malik and Rani Malik respectively.
Shilpa Shetty took to Twitter to celebrate the release of her song, which has returned in a new avatar after 26 years to the screens. She mentioned that she missed the OG, which without a doubt is Akshay Kumar. She also mentioned that this will be a tribute to Saroj Khan, who was the original choreographer of the song and also someone Shilpa has been very close to for years, due to her dance.

Though the generation today, isn’t much of a fan of those songs that have been remade but seeing Shilpa Shetty again in the same song and with her amazing dance is something everyone will love and especially the ones from the 90s generation.
As for the film, “Hungama 2” marks the return of Priyadarshan into Bollywood after 8 years. The new Hungama movie has an adapted story from his own 1994 classic “Minnaram”. The movie isn’t directly a sequel to the original “Hungama” but is said to be a “spiritual” sequel to the film. It has been named so, because of its entertainment and fun factor which reminded the director of the original movie and hence went ahead with the name “Hungama 2”.
The movie will soon be released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 23rd, 2021.
