Amazon MiniTV is gearing up to release a new short film, ‘Gupt Gyaan’, on its platform – the second film as part of its multi-film deal with prolific production house, Sikhya Entertainment. ‘Gupt Gyaan’ will release on Amazon MiniTV on 18th November. The platform has also released a trailer for the upcoming film, which gives us ample hint of the premise of the short film.
Going by the trailer, ‘Gupt Gyaan‘ promises to be a cute and heart-warming watch about two precocious teenagers who are just discovering their attraction for the opposite sex. The two youngsters are played by Ashlesha Thakur, whom viewers have loved in ‘The Family Man’ (she plays Srikant Tiwari’s daughter in the series), and Vishesh Bansal, the cute kid in ‘Yeh Meri Family’, all grown up now, of course.
‘Gupt Gyaan’ explores a meaningful subject about young love, the confusing and emotional phase that teenagers go through, in an utterly adorable way. The trailer of ‘Gupt Gyaan’ gives a sneak peek into what happens when kids have half-baked knowledge of sexuality and all the things that go with it. The trailer gives only hints, leaving out crucial moments from the narrative, thus heightening viewers’ curiosity about the film.
‘Gupt Gyaan’ is directed by Saqib Pandor, who’s earlier worked on projects such as Mochi, Sacred Games, Mukkabaaz and Bombay Begums. It is produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain of Sikhya Entertainment.
For those who still don’t know, Amazon MiniTV is a free content platform of e-commerce giant Amazon Prime. It is a free, mobile video entertainment service within Amazon’s mobile shopping app, which serves as a TV-in-pocket for every single Amazon customer in India.
