Should Prabhas Rethink His Pan India Approach After Adipurush?

Let’s get back to 2017 when SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion got released. Needless to remind you that Prabhas was the sensation, he was tall enough to come into the league of the Khans and it was not merely the case within the borders of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In fact, Prabhas had crossed the boundaries to project himself as a bankable star in Hindi-speaking belts too and the audience too showered their love. Then began a parade of fiascos which were all produced by Bollywood’s production giant T-Series. Regardless, the first one was Saaho with Shraddha Kapoor. The film was a huge letdown and even commercially, they failed to make a big remark.

It was followed by Radhe Shyam at the beginning of 2022. Undoubtedly, it is one of the worst films ever made and naturally emerged as a huge financial disaster. Unlike Saaho, this film apart from Telugu and Hindi also targeted Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam audiences, only to be rejected.

But yesterday, the teaser of the highly anticipated Adipurush was released. And what a teaser it was!!

There are a few instances of such a unanimously pathetic response as the reviews are negative to an extent that it appears abusive.

Also, the VFX is so terribly done that it is likely for the audience to troll them especially after seeing such insanely amazing visuals of Brahmāstra: Part One Shiva.

Maybe it is time for Prabhas to reconsider his choice of films and stick first to his domestic audience. Because he is losing his grip in the Telugu-speaking region too while he is pretending to do PAN India films.
