Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming original series ’Shrinking’ and its a feel good comedy drama. ‘Shrinking’ will premiere globally with the first two episodes on Friday, January 27, on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
The trailer begins with Jimmy (Jason Segel) talking to his clients at his cognitive behavioural therapy center while himself being disturbed, frustrated and tired at the same time.
While Paul tries to guide him, Jimmy adopts an unusual and more so, professionally unethical ways to treat his clients and that not only works for them but also brings back his lost spark since the death of his wife.
Starring Jason Segel (‘How I Met Your Mother’) in lead, ‘Shrinking’ is written by Emmy Award-winning “Ted Lasso” executive producer Bill Lawrence, Emmy Award-winning “Ted Lasso” star, writer and co-executive producer Brett Goldstein and Segel. The series also stars Harrison Ford in one of his first major television roles. In addition to Segel and Ford, ‘Shrinking’ stars Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Michael Urie, Luke Tennie and Lukita Maxwell.
‘Shrinking’ follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.
The comedy drama series is created by Lawrence, Segel and Goldstein, who have also written the first episode and serve as executive producers alongside Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. ‘Shrinking’ is produced by Warner Bros. Television, where Lawrence is under an overall deal, and Lawrence’s Doozer Productions.
‘Shrinking’ will premiere on Apple TV+ on 27th January, 2023.
