There had been huge hype around the third installment of the ‘Singham’ franchise and there were rumours after rumours, but the makers kept silent. Now, Singham 3 is officially announced and the working title is ‘Singham Again’.
Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to announce their upcoming movie and shared a photo with the three of them together. Akshay Kumar too posted about the commencement of the shooting. There will hopefully be cameos of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in the movie.
The first ‘Singham’ movie came out in 2011 and was a massive hit. ‘Singham Returns’ came out in 2014 and there were other movies that expanded the universe. ‘Simmba’ and ‘Suryavanshi’ starring Ranveer and Akshay, were box office successes too. Suryavanshi saw the three stars come together in one mission. Rohit Shetty is famous for surprising fans with cameos, and there will be no shortage of that in Singham Again. The official cast list has not been announced but most probably, Akshay and Ranveer will join Ajay Devgn. Kareena Kapoor will hopefully reprise her role and there might be a new and powerful villain in the franchise. There are rumours that Arjun Kapoor has been roped in as the villain of the movie. But it would be a very bad decision to cast such a bland actor like Arjun Kapoor against such an intense actor like Ajay Devgn.
Fans are excited for Singham Again and it will hopefully be on the floors during late 2024.
