Much awaited Telugu film ‘Sita Ramam‘ trailer is finally out. Starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, Rashmika Mandanna also plays a major role in this epic love saga. The makers held a special trailer release event today and revealed the telugu trailer. The malayalam and Tamil versions of the trailer will follow soon. Sita Ramam releases on 5th of August in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The trailer shows crucial events of Sita and Ram’s epic love story. Narrated like a search for Sita by Rashmika’s character, the film follows orphan soldier Lieutenant Ram’s life (Dulquer Salmaan) after he gets a letter from Sita. Ram meets Sita and love blossoms between them. When he comes back to his camp in Kashmir, he sends a letter to Sita which unfortunately doesn’t reach her. After 20 years, Rashmika Mandanna and Tharun Bhascker are given the task of delivering the letter to Sita. The trailer also shows Ram’s superior Brigadier Vishnu Sharma (Sumanth) more in an antagonist angle. Not only is the trailer drama and suspense packed, but also is blossoming with tender love. The cinematography looks spectacular with an old-school vintage background score.
Sita Ramam is written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. PS Vinod helms the cinematography department and Vishal Chandrashekhar composed the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the main editor of the movie. Sita Ramam is bank-rolled by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. Besides the three major stars, Sita Ramam stars Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhumika Chawla, Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore and Jisshu Sengupta in major roles.
