A new official teaser for the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses Season 5 has emerged, featuring Gary Oldman as the flatulent and unkempt Jackson Lamb, head of the infamous Slough House—an administrative purgatory for MI5 service rejects.
The clip shows Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb travelling in a lift with Roddy Ho inside a tall skyscraper. It ends as they reach the 52nd floor. Shortly after, the teaser reveals the release date for the fifth season: September 24. Mark your calendars, folks!
According to multiple reports, the new season will consist of six episodes and is set to debut on September 24, 2025, with a two-episode premiere. Afterward, one episode will be released each week until October 22.
Season 5 of the show adapts London Rules, the fifth book in Mick Herron’s Slough House series.

The plot synopsis for the upcoming season goes like this: When Roddy Ho, the team’s tech expert, suddenly has a glamorous new girlfriend, everyone at Slough House becomes suspicious. But as a series of increasingly strange incidents unfolds across the city, it’s up to the Slow Horses to connect the dots.
In addition to Oldman, the series stars Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, the Deputy Director General of MI5, and Jack Lowden as agent River Cartwright. We’ll also see Christopher Chung return as Roddy Ho.
Moreover, Season 5 of Slow Horses will welcome a new face: Nick Mohammed, best known for Ted Lasso, joins as a special guest star. Stay tuned for more updates.
