The official trailer for ‘Somebody I Used To Know‘, a Prime Video original, has been released now. It will be premiering on the platform on the 10th of February.
The film is directed by Dave Franco and written by Franco and Alison Brie. Alison Brie also stars in the lead role along with Jay Ellis and Kiersey Clemons. We will have to wait to see how well the actor Dave Franco has mastered the art of direction.
‘Somebody I Used To Know’ is a romantic comedy and as we can see in the trailer, the performances are quite good. As far as we can understand from the trailer, the movie tells the story of a woman Ally who suddenly meets her ex-boyfriend Sean after a long gap. They start to meet more often and hang out together. Both of them had been thinking about their past mistakes and when everything between them seems to okay, Ally meets Cassidy, who is going to marry Sean. Cassidy reminds Ally of her own self years ago. She gets into too many awkward situations and has to deal with this new heartbreak with the same person.
The film is produced by Black Bear Pictures and Temple Hill Entertainment. The music of the film is composed by Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans. Brian Lannin has handled the cinematography and Ernie Gilbert has edited it. It will be good for the subscribers to have a modest romantic comedy on Amazon Prime Video after a flood of crime thrillers. The film will be releasing on the 10th of this February.
