Sonu Sood’s directorial debut with ‘Fateh’ is going to happen soon. On the birthday of the actor, the release date of the movie has been announced. ‘Fateh’ will be hitting the theaters on the 10th of January next year.
The official teaser for the movie was released four months ago and it caused huge curiosity among fans. It featured Sonu Sood, who seems to be playing a field agent from intelligence because the patriotic title and promotions make it improbable that he will play any hitman or something like that, even though his looks are quite similar to Tom Cruise from ‘Collateral’. Jacqueline Fernandez plays the female lead opposite him. Sonu’s character claims to have killed fifty people when someone interrogates him and asks him about the death of forty people. There is no regret in his voice and it seems he was on some mission against terrorists or stuck somewhere with the ‘bad guys’. The plot will be more clear once the trailer is out.
This is Sood’s first movie as the director and he has not gotten any major role since lockdown as he kept himself busy with his philanthropic works. Fans are excited to see what he has to offer as the director. Naseeruddin Shah will also be there in the movie in what seems to be a major role, and it will be another reason to watch the movie in theaters.
‘Fateh’ is produced under the banner of Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios. The movie releases on the 10th of January next year.
