Sony Pictures is on a delaying spree just like Warner Bros was a few months back. It has resulted in the date reshuffling of many films which fans have waited for so long.
The oscar-winning Spider-Man movie series, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is one of them. The film initially set to release on October 7 2022 will now hit the theatres on June 2, 2023.
However, the sequel of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse which is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part 2 is also final with its release date. The film will release on March 29, 2024. That, however, is a long dream currently and may even suffer even more reshuffles.
The next big project is non-other than Dakota Johnson and Sidney Sweeney’s “Madame Web”. The film is a spin-off to the Spider-Man universe and will release on July 7, 2023.
But they are not all as Sony pictures have reshuffled even non-Marvel films which include many big projects.
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile an animated feature based on an extremely famous children’s book has been moved ahead instead of getting postponed. Earlier it was scheduled for November 18 but will now release on October 7.
Another title on the list is Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer 3 which will now hit the theatres on September 1, 2023.
