Malayalam web series ‘Jai Mahendran’ will hit your screens via the SonyLiv app on October 11th, 2024. The anticipated web series was slated to release on February 9th but was postponed after an official announcement from the makers.
The series features Saiju Kurup in the main lead and is written by National Award-winning filmmaker Rahul Riji Nair. In an official announcement, the makers also gave a sneak peek of the show which will start streaming from October. Srikanth Mohan directs the political drama.
Alongside Saiju Kurup, the star cast also includes Suhasini Maniratnam, Rahul Riji Nair, Miya, Suresh Krishna, John Antony, Vishnu Govindan, and Sidhartha Siva among others in prominent roles. Sidhartha Pradeep handled the music for the show while Prasanth Raveendran was the cinematographer.
The plot revolves around a dishonest government employee who will do everything in power to keep his job. It also showcases how exploitation and corruption often end with the self-destruction of such political personalities.
