SonyLIV has dropped not one but two teasers of its forthcoming Original series, Adrishyam. The show stars the likes of Divyanka Tripathi and Eijaz Khan. It will explore the pros and cons of the life of an IB officer and how they protect their country from unseen threats. Both teasers have been helmed by Gajraj Rao.
The first teaser shows Diyanka Tripathi’s character selecting a dress with her daughter in a shopping mall. She spots a bad guy there while talking to her daughter. Soon, we see her following the guy to the changing room, where she knocks him out. Then, she calls her chief and informs her about their “Bangalore waala client”.
The second Adrishyam teaser shows Eijaz Khan’s character buying vegetables with her wife. His wife stops him from buying spoiled ladyfingers. Out of nowhere, he witnesses some guys loading suspicious boxes on a truck. This forces him to attach a tracker to that truck secretly. Then, he informs her chief about keeping a close eye on satellite no. 105.
Divyanka Tripathi is best known for her work on the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein series, in which she played Dr Ishita Bhalla. On the other hand, Eijaz Khan is a popular figure in the Indian OTT industry for his brilliant performances in Bhram (ZEE5) and City of Dreams (Disney+ Hotstar).
In addition to Divyanka Tripathi and Eijaz Khan, SonyLIV’s Adrishyam stars Swaroopa Ghosh, Tarun Anand, Chirag Mehra, Roshnee Rai, Parag Chadha, Zara Khan and Shriya Jha. The show is a result of the collaboration between Applause Entertainment and Bombay Show Studios. Anshuman Kishore Singh serves as the series’ helmer.
