SonyLIV has dropped the trailer for season two of its original web series ‘Chamak: The Conclusion’ and this time the artists must fight back to regain the glory of art and music that has now become business in Punjab. Directed and created by Rohit Jugraj, ‘Chamak: The Conclusion’ will premiere only on SonyLIV on 16th August, 2024.
This time the fight has gotten bigger and it’s not just mere vengeance. The fight is against the mighty Pratap who wrongfully owns Teeja Sur and thinks that nothing is above business, neither the music nor the artist. Jazz is caught in a vicious circle where she cannot find a way for herself despite the talent she has. Kaala is not to be found much in the trailer that’s mostly dominated by Guru and others. The recurring issues of crime, honour killing, drug abuse and toxic masculinity still are prominent themes in the show.
Will Kaala be able to uncover the truth and find his father’s killers? Will he be able to make the name for himself and bring down the dominance of Pratap in Punjab’s musical landscape?
Helmed by Rohit Jugraj, ‘Chamak: The Conclusion’ trailer gives an intriguing glimpse into all that’s about to happen in this second season.
